About 3 weeks ago I was contacted by a reporter for the Wall Street Journal, Ellen Gamerman. She interviewed me about my experiences with Rent a coder when I had a graphic artist in Romania create a Star Wars themed intro for my sisters wedding. See my posts here for more details.
The article, titled "Outsouring Your Life," ran in last weekend's edition of the Wall Street Journal, and my story was used in the intro. Although I was only mentioned in the first two paragraphs, the article itself is a worthwhile read. Check it out by clicking here
I received a few emails from collegues and others on whether I was indeed the David San Filippo mentioned in the article.
I also got a kick out of the fact that the article was dugg on the popular social news site Digg. You can see the commentary on the article here.
Hopefully the next time I appear in the WSJ, it will be for something bigger and better.
