Finally Live
Sunday, May 17, 2009 at 01:40PM Just finally pushed everything live. Snip-It Pro 2.0 is released.
Check out the site http://www.snipitpro.com/ as I significantly changed the home page. Put a new camtasia overview video right on the front page.
Let me know what you think.

I saved severals snippets in the beta version (2.0) with the .snip extension and now is not possible associate them with Snip-It 2.0, but other snippets created with the early version open with the new version.
When I choose "Export Snippets" the only option I have is the .snips extension!
I cannot open snippets created with the beta version (.snip). What's happen?
I think there is some confusion between snip files and snips files.
"snip" files are the snippets themselves. These are just xml files that contain the details about your snippet.
"snips" files are snippet archives. They are actually just zip files. You could actually change the extension and open them in winzip or any other archive program.
The extension doesn't relate to the version.
If you have a bunch of snip files, just put them in any Snippet Collection physical folder (refresh the folder afterword) or add a snippet collection and point the folder location to where you have them stored. Snip-It Pro will pick up on them.
If you're still having issues, please send an email to support@snipitpro.com. Send me a copy of the file or archive you are trying to open.
Thanks and good luck.

I had just done what you suggested, and it worked.
I'm still with problems in associating the extension 'snip' to the Snip-It, but possibly that should be because of the Windows.
Congratulations for the program!

PS: Disregard my precarious English.
Thanks for the feedback. I have not implemented any file associations, so associating snip or snips files with Snip-It Pro won't do anything at this point. That's a good feature suggestion, so I'll consider implementing it for a future version.
Thanks,
